I like to share with you how to apply my personal experiences to your daily life in order to boost your self esteem. There are many things you can start doing to improve self esteem and your confidence. Here are some tips you can start applying to your daily life:

1. Honour and love yourself . It is impossible to love and honor yourself if you are constantly blaming . Blaming means that you don’t take responsibility for your life. When this happens you are powerless and engage in negative thinking. How do I get out of this trap?. I became aware of my thoughts, I stop and change my negative inner talk. Changing your inner talk is a great boost .

2. Do not judge other people. If I find myself judging I immediately change my attention . When you judge others usually you are think that you are better than them or you use this judgment to feel better.

3. Stop feeling guilty. If want to eat chocolate or a piece of cake, etc. I eat it without guilt. The same if I need a nap , play or just relax and do nothing. Guilt is a trap that will keep you in a victim mode.

4. Don’t take personally another person criticism. I know that if come across to somebody that criticizes me is not about me. Some people to think that are better than others by putting them down. Take criticism as a feedback, and see if you could learn and improve from it.

5. Exercising helps to boost your self esteem ,your mood, body image and confidence. I have spent time with myself. My body is light, flexible and with a lot of energy. I exercise frequently, if cannot run outside, I go to the gym.

6. Meditate. I meditate every day; being in silence help me to connect to myself. It doesn’t matter what meditation you use. You can follow your breath, say a mantra or just be in silence, the important key here is to be in silence. Meditation will connect you with your source of self-worth.

7. Have sense of humor .I have a great sense of humour, that’s helps a lot because I won’t dwell on self-pity . Start feeling happy and expanded using constructive humour.

8. Celebrate success. I celebrate success every day; even the small ones. I become conscious of it. ( I made dinner, I watered my plants, I was nice to an angry person, etc).

Build Your Self Esteem – Don’t be Afraid of Investing in Yourself

Individuals begin developing their self esteem at a very early age. How they feel as a child often depends on the type of encouragement and nurturing they get from their parents. Children that are taught and encouraged to try their best, learn from their mistakes and never to give up, generally have a more positive self esteem outlook than those that are constantly belittled. Children who are belittled will always doubt their own abilities and it can squash their desire to attempt new things for fear of failure.

For teenagers, self esteem can go through a complete transformation. Some feel very strange as their bodies change. They end up not being comfortable with others for a very long time due to this. Others end up being very popular though and they love the attention. This results in them having a very healthy self esteem outlook. As their own image improves, it makes others more feel comfortable to be around them as well.

It is amazing how many adults suffer from low self esteem. They may have always felt this way or it can be due to something in their life. Losing a job, getting a divorce, or just life in general can result in someone losing their self esteem. Many adults are less willing to accept changes as they get older. This can result in them doubting their decisions and having a poor self image.

It can be difficult to build your self esteem but you need to work hard on it. You will build up more confidence as you do. The biggest challenge is to channel your energy into changing your outlook on things. You need to be very positive and look for the good in things. Instead of worrying about what people won’t like about you, focus on what you do have to offer them. Chances are that what you see as your faults, many others don’t see in the same way.

Give yourself some well deserved attention. We tend to take care of the needs of our family and let our own go. If you worry about how you look then change what you don’t like. Start exercising more if you worry about your overall size. Cut your hair and style it differently if you don’t think it makes you attractive. Don’t be afraid or guilty about spending some time and money to improve or make yourself look and feel good. Investment in yourself is by far the best investment of all time!

How To Become Decisive And Self-Confident

Decisiveness can have an extraordinary effect on your self-confidence alone. A few benefits that come naturally once you make up your mind are as follows.

First of all, if you decide on situations and ideas for right or for wrong, you will be able to instantly turn your full attention and energy toward your next progressive step in line with your goal. Being free from something, you are free for creating something brand new.

Indecision is like a merry-go-round because you get nowhere and you waste precious time in the process. Decisiveness, on the other hand, is like a sightseeing bus where you are free to travel beyond the last known places to exciting new environment, which you have never explored before.

You are already aware that quick decisions and choices save you time and energy. Contrast this with people who complain that there is not enough time or they have no energy. Such people usually end up going back and forth endlessly between their possible choices.

All-around efficiency will be yours once you know what you want and take action to get it in the simplest way. The decisive personality wins self-esteem, and admiration from others.

In actual fact, many people believe that there is nothing as important as someone who is strong when making decisions. It is seen as a mark of character. Look at many of the leaders in life, and you will see that majority of them know their own mind and stick to it when they see what needs to be done in a set of given circumstances.

An unsettled mind causes negative stress and contradictions to rise. If you ever find yourself trapped and cannot seem to break through a problem, it makes sense to stop thinking so hard. The more you struggle against confusion, the more it persists. Some people are prone to over analyse.

Making a decision calmly and confidently. There is no need for a lot of brainpower or effort because the decision itself does not need to involve all the detailed plans and executions at this time. You only need to decide that you are ready to proceed along a chosen path in line with your values.

As soon as you make this decision, you will discover that the “how to” aspect takes care of itself. It is the natural next step.

The reason for this is because as a human being, you are far more resourceful at finding the way to create a successful path, than you may currently believe.

Don’t confuse cause with effect. Your decision is the cause. Your resources are the effect – don’t get this backwards!

The ideas to succeed and move down the road to success and self-confidence come from a mind that has been made up. That means one that made a commitment. If you are waiting for courage in order to make up your mind, you will be waiting an entire lifetime.

Decision builds courage and courage builds confidence!

Understand Your Fear And Build Your Self-Confidence

Fear is the biggest enemy in your quest for building total self-confidence. It is a fatal emotion and if you let it take over the course of your life, it becomes virtually impossible to live and create the lifestyle you always dream of.

Not everyone has the same reaction to fear. In fact a lot of people cope very well with it and actually build a very successful life while generating a huge amount of self-confidence, even in what could be considered a stressful environment.

But before we go into the details of how to overcome fear and worry, let’s do a quick review of this very real emotion called fear.

An interesting fact is that we are born with only two fears: the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises.

So what about the others?

The fear of spiders, heights, animals, blood, water and so on. Well, we developed those fears ourselves. That includes the biggest fear of all: the fear of failure.

When you feel any negative energy in your body, just notice how that fear shows up. Is it the feeling of being judged or the feeling of failure?

As you ask these deeper questions, you will get a sense for what is essentially holding you back in the moment. By honestly looking at these feelings, you will bring honesty to the situation and open up a new world of possibilities.

Many people act most of their lives out of fear. They place a lot of focus and energy in support of a premise or opinion that is based around fears, worry, doubts and suspicion about the world at large. This can relate to relationships with other people, the government, speaking to new people, their job and so on. This leads to a lifestyle where the aim is simply to avoid more pain. Avoiding pain becomes the main factor in their life because the fear of further loss is so prevalent. Their reality continues to narrow around a very small window of opportunity. This kills any self-confidence that they once had.

By letting your dominant thoughts narrow around the failure mindset, you are quite literally navigating yourself to fail. You are constantly replaying the thoughts and images of past failures in your mind when you adopt this mindset.

Check this out for yourself by answering the following questions:

• Do you state, “I know I’ll fail” before even trying?

• How often do you think about failure?

• Do you often think “I always lose”, “that’s just what I’m like” or any other reason why you think you’ll fail again.

If you answered yes, then you are likely suffering because of the beliefs you have adopted in relationship to fear. There are always going to situations which create a sense of fear simply because you step outside your comfort zone.

In such circumstances you are moving forward, but the fear can stop you dead in your tracks. One powerful strategy for overcoming fear is to build such a powerful vision for your life that you face anything and step up to any challenge.

How To Gain Self Confidence Through The Power of Self-Command

Today, it seems that many people feel as if they have totally lost every ounce of control over their lives. They look at their mistakes and failures as evidence that all is lost, or soon will be.

Have you ever felt the same way?

The fact that something you didn’t want, happened in the past, does not imply that it is going to happen again. The two instances are not related, and the negative action needn’t continue. It needn’t continue as long as self-command is a ruling principle of your life.

It needn’t continue as long as we can choose to return to a sound, confident mindset that puts us at the centre of our reality and assumes total responsibility. In essence it puts us in charge of our destination.

Self-command goes hand-in-hand with self-confidence. As a result, if you learn to command yourself into certain actions, then you inevitably build large reserves of self-confidence.

Many people act with surprise when told that the control of their personal lives starts with control of their own minds, however there is nothing which makes more sense! Nothing was ever done without first thinking about doing it.

It is possible that the unconscious mind played a major role, however action always starts with thought. Self-command starts with thought-command. If you are unhappy in your current job, you may think you are incapable of landing a more promising career. In that moment, if you come to the realisation that your block is purely mental, you can instruct yourself consciously with the command “you only think it’s real.”

Recent advances in brain science have proven beyond doubt that any thought which is repeated enough, is accepted as true by the unconscious mind. And, the unconscious mind is the power centre of your brain.

So here’s what happens…

The unconscious mind begins working to bring about the conditions that relate to your most dominant thoughts. This is self-evident in your current reality. The best thing is that by understanding this concept, you will quickly stop any negative thoughts before they dampen your self-confidence.

Here’s what you should do:

1. Become clear that it is simply a thought. (That you are incapable).

2. Understand that your negative thoughts are what are holding you back.

3. Know that’s it is not your lack of ability or anything else!

4. Get so clear that you feel an inner drive to rise up and continue to act in line with your values.

If you follow this simple process, you will be surprised at how fast you can overcome thoughts and feelings that have been holding you back. Also, you will discover that fresh opportunities will begin to show up. This is not magic – it’s simply your brain bringing your conscious awareness to the goal you gave it through repetition.

Here is a great quote to remember….

“Those who can command themselves can command others.” -William Hazlitt.

Positive Daily Affirmations For Self Esteem And Confidence

10 Tips To Writing Effective Positive Daily Affirmations
By Evelyn Lim

Positive daily affirmations can help you to reprogram your mind from the negative self talk that you have had for years. For this to work effectively, you need to repeat positive statements of a desirable outcome like a mantra on a daily basis a few times per day.

Positive daily affirmations help to redirect your values, formulate goals for success or simply help you to boost your self confidence. They can be used to improve areas such as wealth, success, health, relationships or self esteem.

Here are 10 tips to writing effective Positive Daily Affirmations

1. Develop Them Yourself. Self-developed affirmations are the most effective positive daily affirmations. If you couple them with clearly defined written goals and applied faith, their power is even stronger.

2. Feel Them. The emotional dimension of each affirmation should never be overlooked. When you can additionally “feel” your affirmation, its total impact increases tremendously. For instance, if your affirmation is “I am a successful public speaker”, then visualize how it will be like to be receiving a standing ovation from a hall full of people.

3. Make Them In the Present Tense. You should state your positive daily affirmations in the present tense, that is, use “I am…” rather than “I will be…” Saying things in the present tense will program your subconscious mind to believe that what you affirm is already a fact. In other words, you have no doubt in your mind that what you desire is a given and not just a wish that may or may not happen.

4. Make Affirmations Positive. Another important tip in formulating your affirmations is to write them in the positive state. A negative statement cannot work. For instance, you should say “I am rich” rather than “I am not poor”.

5. Make Positive Daily Affirmations Short And Clear. First, because your experience will create the conditions that allow affirmations to manifest, word the affirmations carefully to make them crystal-clear. State your real, innermost desires and articulate your most expansive sense of self. Affirmations based on a narrow self-concept deliver results that fall short, cause suffering, and further diminish the sense of self.

7. Increase Your Faith. Of course, the more faith you have in them, the more effective your affirmations will be. The desires and dreams that your mind can conceive bear seeds of possibility, and possibilities ultimately become realities.

8. Say Positive Daily Affirmations With Conviction. Some experts recommend saying positive daily affirmations silently. They say that silent affirmations are more effective than spoken statements, because they entail more intensity of concentration and resonate through your entire body instead of in your surroundings. Others recommend saying them out loud, because you can also use your facial expression or hand gestures for more conviction. For whatever it is, positive daily affirmations made in a half hearted manner are not going to be as effective as the ones that you make with deliberate intention.

9. Follow Up With Actions. Lastly, you will also need to put in some actions, so that you can lay the ground for their manifestation. For instance, affirming that you will win the lottery can only be possible when you buy a ticket.

10. Remind Yourself Daily. In a hurried lifestyle with 1001 things to do, you can find it hard to remember to repeating the positive daily affirmations. Hence, put them in a visible location, like on the wall or in front of the mirror or save them in a PowerPoint slide to be used as a screensaver.

Here are some examples to help illustrate the above 10 tips:
