Good points. Stress is manageable after you identify the stressors... Outlook, perception and how you choose to react are the keys to effectively implementing stress management techniques. Great post! Thanks.

Comment on A Guide To Creative Problem Solving - Every Problem Has A Solution by Ron Towns

I think a fantastic way to solve problems is to involve yourself in a master-mind, where you get between 5 and 12 people to sit at a table. One person presents a problem or issue and the rest of the people provide their input. The key is to place yourself in a group of intelligible, motivated, and feedback-oriented people. They will provide the most valuable commentary.

Another solution for problem solving is to focus on the critical few issues vs. the trivial many. Focus all of your energies on the things that are most critical to the goal you are attempting to achieve. If you only dedicate 5% of your time to 10 items, that's 50% of your productivity that is being used. Doing something at 5% energy will take a long time to accomplish. Dedicate 100% to one task, kill it, and move on. See what I mean if you read some excerpts here.... www.readtheanswer.com/index.php?RTA=web2

Comment on Respect is the KEY to Creating Effective and Efficient Relationships by Tracy Crowe

I thoroughly agree with this post. I especially think it is so important for each partner to feel like they can safely and freely express their ideas, opinions, and feelings to each other. Beleive it or not, I have never been in an intimate relationship like this. Needs were never discussed in my family; my parents just assumed that I knew what they needed and that they knew what I needed (which they probably assumed were the same things they did). For me, that just led to frustration and to me wanting to keep my distance. You just can't have respect for someone in that kind of a relationship. You can't even really get to know the other person. Not surprisingly, I married someone just like my parents for almost 20 years, still looking for someone I could safely express myself with.

I think being decisive and having self confidence both feed on each other to create an upward spiral. Having either one makes the other a lot easier. And both of them are critical to success. I also think that once you really commit to a decision, the world will "bend over backwards to make it possible".
