Set Goal And Have A Purposeful Life

The key to goal setting is to be specific. You are looking for precise, measurable outcomes. Something that gets you fried up and releases emotion when you think of it. A goal is not a general desire. “Wanting more money” is not a goal. “ I want to be healthy and rich” is not a goal.

To move toward a goal it must release an emotion, which drives you to move toward it. If it is boring and dry, then you will feel no compulsion or desire to have or be that thing. If it is done correctly, goal setting can bring about your dreams.

Success and self-confidence can be yours. If you think about it and truly want it, then nothing will stop you from achieving it. It’s as simple as that. People who never change always think that the successful few are either lucky or had some special skills and talents that they did not have. That’s not the case at all. Don’t let yourself become one of those people. Move ahead and take from life what your desire and deserve.

So, how should you begin?

One of the most important initial steps is to make a firm decision to have what you want. Commit yourself to it. Generate emotion within your body and create a very strong reason for wanting success. This should come in the form of a why question. A goal which contains a “why” is far more powerful than simply “wanting” something. This alone will bring about new levels of emotion and purpose.

When you focus on the goal and decide to give it a high importance your non-conscious brain will pick this up and literally begin to look for ways to accomplish the goal for you. It will bring your attention to anything that matches up with that goal.

This means that during the day when you are concentrating on another task, your conscious attention will be brought to people and places that can lead to the accomplishment of your goal. That is very powerful.

When thinking of goals, ensure that you remember your unique purpose and values in life. Think about what you would like to be or to have more than anything else. The only way you are ever going to get what you want is when you KNOW what you want. This sounds very obvious but many people do not remember this when setting goals.

From here, think about how badly you want it. If there is some pain attached to the need for the gaol, this will drive you even closer to it. It will also give you a huge advantage because it generates a very emotional WHY reason for succeeding.

One big reason for 90% plus of people failing to reach any goal they set themselves is because they are not specific about what they want. Always have the specific end result in your mind while you are working towards your goal.

Understand that just creating a goal does not mean it will be given to you on a plate! That is not the process. It takes actions and commitments. Break the goals into small steps will create more desire and make it manageable. There is no need to rush and try to reach it right away. Take it one day at a time.

Remember that if you fall down, that does not mean failure, it just means you need to get up and try again. Your goal will come a little later than you thought but so what! Get up and set a fresh goal and move on.

So act on it today! Set goal and have a purpose in life. Purpose is what gives life a meaning.

Besides setting goals, you need to have an understanding of how the universe works.

    1. The Law of Attraction

Neural research shows that when you think positively towards a certain idea or object, every time you think of it in the future, positive neural chemicals are released in your brain, influencing you to take a positive stance on whatever it is your are thinking about. The same happens with negative thoughts. Learn to control your mind and you will be able to accomplish anything, as well as be able to adapt to adverse situations. When you think positively, you will attract positivity, which leads to success. Negativity breed stagnation, fear, doubt, and more negativity (its a vicious loop effect).

    2. Cause and Effect

We see the world of tangible phenomena; we don’t see the vastly greater world that gives rise to it. That vastly greater world is the world of cause. Newton used the principle of cause and effect as it operates in the physical, mechanical world as the basis of his laws of thermodynamics: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. What the science of Newton’s day did not yet grasp was that matter, energy and consciousness are not distinct and separate domains, but are all simply different frequencies along the same continuum. What they did not fully grasp, but science has now shown us, is that the principle of cause and effect applies not simply to the mechanics of matter, but to the mechanics of everything, including our thoughts. You must be practiced at creating the thoughts that will serve your business. The effect will come shortly after.

    3. Law of Gestation

Ambitious businesspeople tend to be impatient. However, ambitious people must understand that patience really is a virtue. The Law of Gestation complements the law of attraction. It says that for every seed, there is a set gestation or incubation period, a specific span of time that particular seed needs to establish itself before it can unfold from the blueprint into fully realized physical form. Each of your goals is a seed itself. If you take the right steps and have the right mind frame, the tree with sprout.
