Motivation And Attitude
Motivation and attitude must go hand in hand. There are two kinds of motivation: short-burst and constant. Short-burst motivation, as its name implies, is short and probably last for few days only. Constant motivation on the other hand is continual. Without the right attitude, your motivation will not last long.
Let’s me explain…
Have you been to a motivational seminar where after the seminar, you were pumped-up, motivated and ready to get something started? And then after a few weeks, your motivation seemed to die off? This is an example of “short-burst motivation”.
So how do you maintain your motivation and make it constant and continual? The answer lies in your ATTITUDE. Attitude is something that you FEEL about yourself. It’s the fuel that keeps your motivation engine going.
For example, after a business opportunity seminar, your eyes are opened, you are motivated and ready to join a team and get started to build a business that you believe can set you to the path of a financial freedom. But unfortunately after several weeks of hard works, you don’t see any significant result. Your motivation and belief start to wane, you feel that you don’t deserve the success and you are ready to quit.
Unfortunately, most people will quit after a few disappointments and setbacks. But there are people who have the attitude to persist, persevere and never give up. They understand that success won’t come easily, there will be many roadblocks ahead. They continue to move ahead and learn to remove roadblocks along their ways.
Those who have the right attitude will always find strengths to motivate themselves and move on. Attitude is indeed the fuel for motivation.

I think not just attitude, but having a supportive network of people to lift you up in the low times, versus defeatist friends/family who tell you not to bother, you’ll never succeed. Attitude itself can be quite fragile…

I agree with Belg, having a network of friends who are positive and supportive will help us to achieve our goals. It has been said that your income is the average of 5 people whom you are spending the most time with. I am ready to make some new friends, the positive ones
