“Attitude is Everything!” I’m sure you have heard of this saying many times.
Well, it’s very true…. Attitude is everything. A positive attitude can immediately improve your outlook, make you feel good and hopeful. However, positive attitude tends to be short-lived. For example, a simple occurrence of every day life such as someone pushing ahead of us in the grocery checkout line can immediately throw us back into the land of negative attitude.
The reason why we can’t seem to maintain a positive attitude is because we allow negativity to fill our thoughts!
In Six Minutes To Success, Bob Proctor (a great teacher of The Law of Attraction) said….
“Attitude is the composite of your thoughts, feelings and actions. Your conscious mind controls feeling and ultimately dictates whether your feelings will be positive or negative by your choice of thoughts, then your body displays those choices through action and behavior.”
Therefore, if we want to stop negative attitude once and for all, we need to start addressing it from the source which is our thought.
Here are some tips for keeping your mind filled with positive thinking….
- Pay attention on what you’re thinking. You see, negative action is derived from negative thought, your body will follow where the mind goes. Fortunately, it’s possible to control your mind. As soon as a negative thought comes into your mind, purposefully make it a point to replace it with a positive one. At first you may find it’s difficult but if you always make an effort to try, your mind will eventually be filled with positive thought.
- Don’t let other people’s negative attitudes to influence you. Stay away from people who always spout negativity! Hang around with people who are positive about themselves and life in general.
- Nobody is perfect, we all have flaws. The important thing is that we strive to improve each day. Make a list of all the areas and negative attitudes you want to change. And make a commitment to change!
- Set personal goals and make plans to achieve them, make your life purposeful! A life without goals is a life without purpose!
Now that you got these tips, make sure you use them and make them work for you. With some practice, you will be able to change how you think and how you act. Remember, the body will follow wherever the mind goes. There is no way to separate the two.
Hope you enjoy this post.
