Sometimes there are so many negative people in the work environment it can become toxic.  

If we are not in a position to change jobs immediately, we can eliminate the impact of the negative work environment --  we don&#039;t need to spend our nonworking time (e.g. lunch, breaks, after working hours) with people from our work.  We can legitimately find other areas to sit in and other things to do e.g. go for walk, practice meditation, read a book, or do anything rather than spend non-working time with negative people.
