Self Help Tip - How To Overcome Your Fear
To vercome your fear, you must first find the courage to face fear. Here is the technique I learned to have the courage to face fear: Mentally take your fear out and put it in front of you, stare into the eyes of fear. Your fear will become less intense when you are looking into its eyes. In some cases, your fear will completely disappear.
So don’t be afraid, have the courage to stare your fear into its eyes. You will soon realize that the fear is weakened when you look into its eyes.
For example, let say you are scheduled to talk in front of a group and you feel nervous and fearful. Now, mentally take the fear out in front of you and stare at it. Just say to yourself that you are going to talk naturally in front of people, you will tell them what you are going to tell them, you are going to talk straight to the point, no mumbo jumbo! You are just sharing what you know and you are going to prepare what you are going to share. If you do that, your fear of speaking in front of a group will lessen.
You can’t get rid of fear completely but you can manage and control it.

The content of fear may be intense and gripping, so much so that it overwhelms us completely. But when we look beyond that content at the fear itself, we will find pure energy which, if we focus on it directly, will begin to reveal its real nature. Then, instead of filling us with agitation, the energy of fear can actually lead us to a state of exhilaration, or intense concentration, or love.
